The summer program is wonderful and growing. The kids have so much fun and I know they appreciate all the help and the ability to be able to do all the fun things. If you are interested in learning more about our summer program, please watch our website with more information to come.

Pros

I can't speak for other departments, but everyone at Out & About was wonderful to work with. There is great communication between supervisors and employees, lots of encouragement and recognition for going above and beyond, flexibility with your schedule, and opportunities to bring new ideas to the program. Coming into this job with no prior experience with this population, this job changed me and helped me grow in so many ways.

Cons

The work can be very exhausting (emotionally and physically) and the pay isn't great, so there is a high turnover rate.

Exhausting and meaningful and I know that the kids appreciate the ability to be able to do all the things they have done over the summer and it is so rewarding. Thank you for working with us and the kids, you are much appreciated during this short packed and stacked time.
