Pros

Great mission and culture with no sales objectives to meet each month. Supportive staff fueled by a mission to change the lives of the people we serve.

Cons

Many changes during and post-COVID. Increased wages but still on the lower side for upper management positions.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Imagine!. We’re glad to hear you value our mission, culture, and the dedication of the employees who work every day to support the people we serve. We also appreciate your thoughtful feedback regarding compensation, organizational change, and compassion fatigue. The past several years brought significant challenges and transitions across the human services field, and we recognize the importance of supporting employees not only professionally, but emotionally as well. Providing resources, support, and opportunities for employees to care for their own wellbeing continues to be an important area of focus for our organization. Thank you again for your leadership and for the work you do in support of our mission and community.

Pros

Good benefits and rewarding work

Cons

Absolutely no accountability for supervisors or upper management. Part of the department was in a meeting when a supervisor went on a tirade that those with "fat cells are going to hell". He is STILL a team supervisor. We were asked not to advocate for ourselves or the size of our caseloads as they continue to grow, making providing quality care almost impossible. There seems to be a few people across the department that carry the extra weight of case management, while others continue to do the bare minimum. No incentive to meet goals, no accountability for meeting goals across the department, low pay, and a bad attitude from supervisors, and the CEO. If you work here, prepare to be burnt out.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and perspective. We recognize that workload, leadership support, workplace culture, and accountability all have a significant impact on employee wellbeing and the ability to provide high-quality services. We also understand that employees want to work in environments where they feel respected, supported, heard, and treated fairly. Creating and maintaining professional, respectful workplaces and supporting employees in demanding roles are critically important responsibilities for organizational leadership. Thank you for sharing your experience and for the work you contributed during your time at Imagine!.
