Pros

I can't say enough about Imagine! It was my first job out of grad school and the people who work there are just great. They care so much about the population they work with. Zero drama! Very flexible hours.

Cons

The only bad thing I can say is that the salary is quite poor.

Pros

I can't speak for other departments, but everyone at Out & About was wonderful to work with. There is great communication between supervisors and employees, lots of encouragement and recognition for going above and beyond, flexibility with your schedule, and opportunities to bring new ideas to the program. Coming into this job with no prior experience with this population, this job changed me and helped me grow in so many ways.

Cons

The work can be very exhausting (emotionally and physically) and the pay isn't great, so there is a high turnover rate.

Exhausting and meaningful and I know that the kids appreciate the ability to be able to do all the things they have done over the summer and it is so rewarding. Thank you for working with us and the kids, you are much appreciated during this short packed and stacked time.

Good Started Job, Not much Room for Growth

Pros

Flexible, employees can work from home and create own work structure

Cons

Very little opportunity for growth as well as opportunity to change departments. Pay is not great, raises are worse. Culture has become very domineering as of late which has lead to incompetence being traded for conformity.

Imagine! is very supportive of, and assists with internal movement whenever possible. We also have a great leadership training for current supervisors as well as potential future leaders who work with the Executive team for an extended period of time. Unfortunately our pay is not the most robust as we are dictated by our funding, however, we do have other options we provide to help make up for that deficit to include a GREAT benefits package where the employer picks up 95% of the cost, a wellness incentive as well as a very Robust 403b program.
