      work is easy and you can turn your brain off

      Pros

      drive thru drinks is the best position, pay is okay for college, flexible hours, managers are cool, you can advance your pay at least while i worked there, staff aren't allowed to tell customers your hours or if you are currently working there which was very appreciated as a female and a minor at the time the coworkers are nice and the male coworkers can walk you to your car when it's late

      some associates can't work fast enough and you have to work fast to cover for them it sucked during the pandemic because some customers would blame me for covid (im asian) and i wasn't allowed to do anything (which is the reason why i quit) some customers were really creepy to me and tried to follow me home the videos and company felt mildly cultish the way you have to learn about the company's background no tats or dyed hair or heavy makeup the free meal is nice but i got sick of the burgers every day

      In-N-Out burger offers a flexible work schedule with great pay and benefits

      Cons

      One of the downsides of working at In-N-Out Burger is the people that you work with. As a full-time student with another job, I was only able to work certain days/hours. However, when the store became busy, I would often be kept past my shift. As a result, I would ask at the beginning of my shift if I could get off on time and this became an issue rather quickly. Additionally, In-N-Out has a policy which demands a “right on” response even if you can not do something. If someone asks you to do something, you cannot say no.
