Pros

Great team to work for. Everyone truly loves what they do and actually enjoys coming to work. Always feel supported by my supervisors. The new Wurzbach learning center is clean, bright and colorful.

Cons

Long hours and kiddos can sometimes be a little rough but that comes with the job.

Pros

-The center is a big open area with designated rooms for clients and designated tablets to use as reinforcement. -The BCBA's are always helpful in redirecting behaviors and providing direct supervision. -The center focuses on early client intervention and offer Learners Readiness Program to get clients ready for the school environment. -Indoor swings, trampoline, tree house, and air hockey machine.

Cons

-Cancellations can sometimes conflict with weekly scheduled hours, if not on the 30 hr program. -30 hr program is a pay decrease from hourly rate. -Few opportunities for career advancement.

Pros

I’m currently working at the NW Parkway clinic. All staff are ready to help others when able to and are supportive of one another. Some days with clients can be more challenging than others, but being around a supportive and caring staff gives a boost for better morale. The clinic itself remains fairly clean, considering kids are utilitizing all equipment and facilities all day, as we are provided proper cleaning products and PPE.

Cons

Provide quieter spaces for kids to work 1 on 1 with their therapist during session. Walls are thin and are not soundproof, causing distraction to those that need to focus.
