Pros

If you are new to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), this is a GREAT place to learn under some very knowledgeable BCBAs.

Cons

Management is not very generous with the pay. No sick leave. You work most holidays. Pay increases are only given as responsibilities increase.

Pros

Most people that you work alongside will be supportive. You get a day of birthday PTO. Very rewarding work, where you will grow as a professional and a person.

Cons

Inconsistent hours due to cancelations, but you get coverage IF it’s available. Because of this, a lot of people that work here, also have another job or side gig. If a client cancels last minute and you’re at the center, you get paid an hour. Not enough accountability for employees that are late or parents that are late. Not enough PTO (accrual), not enough holidays (we don’t get Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Martin Luther King Day, among other bank/school holidays). Corporate isn’t as supportive as they can be. Severely underpaid— most start off at $21 a hour. But again, no consistent hours even if you’re full time. You get a limited “unpaid time off” (40 hours).
