Pros

Most RBTs at the South springs region are great to work with, however, they are leaving at a rapid pace. New BCBAs are mostly easy to get along with and knowledgeable.

Cons

Training at all levels is abysmal. BCBAs are thrown to the wolves and told they have a masters degree, figure it out. During my first day of training, I was working direct with clients I had never met, with no company training. The CIO at this region has no management skills. She never answers questions or gives support. When BCBAs ask for support, they are told just to “advocate for yourself .” She is rarely in the clinic, moves meetings with BCBAs around constantly, and although her job is to make life easier for BCBAs, she does nothing helpful. She often sends passive aggressive texts in the group chat. She constantly talks over BCBAs and interrupts them when they try to talk to client parents or each other. When offered feedback, her reaction was to raise her voice and speak over me.

Pros

Previous clinical director in 2022 was phenomenal at building a positive work culture. BCBA team of 9 was collaborative and great to work with before they all quit due to lack of professionalism in the company.

Cons

Corporate hired an outside BCBA with 3 years experience to be the clinical integrity office instead of hiring an internal BCBA that had over 15 years experience and the BCBA took the responsibility of operations manager and clinical director when there were vacant positions for several months. They promoted RBTs who were inconsistent with attendance and reprimanded BCBAs when RBTs complained about running skill acquisition programming and implementing BIPs. RBTs are required to take data on their cell phones which put HIPPA violations at a higher risk and RBTs were found posting on social media during direct sessions. Little action taken by CIO because they don’t want to lose RBTs for billing purposes.
