Pros

-Some BCBA's were very helpful and willing to teach, mentor, and help you grow as a technician. -CAN work with supportive therapists

Cons

Administrative staff is partial and two-faced. You will be told one thing and another happens. Decisions are made without the clients program and progress in mind. Unethical at best, poisonous environment at worst.

Pros

The clients are the only reason many stay so long.

Cons

The leadership, discrimination, nepotism, retaliatory and hostile atmosphere if you are honest. They lie and are more concerned about their bottom line than the clients and workers. I would be cautious to work here and if you did work out of the clinic and do t go to any “work functions”. They promote a family environment but it soon becomes apparent that the only family they look out for is those who are married and working very closely which makes it difficult for workers to report any issues. HR is a joke and I will be surprised if they last very long. Big centers sometimes lose sight of the importance of single-subject designs.

Thank you for your honest and thorough feedback. We are disappointed to hear that your experience fell way short of our expectations, and want it to be known that we’re not happy being complacent, ever. It sounds like you were not satisfied with the support at the local level, as well as from our HR department. We always realize there are opportunities to get better at all levels, which is why we created the feedback portal on our website that goes straight to the CEO and CCO of our organization. We are encouraging you to visit the feedback portal and express your concerns in a way that we can open up a dialogue and take action to support your concerns from the top down. You can do so at inbloomautism.com/feedback. Thank you again and we hope we can learn from moments we fell short so they do not happen again.

Pros

The continuing departing staff members were the best coworkers and team I’ve worked with in a long time; flexibility in making supervision schedules.

Cons

No one knows the polices, not even the CEO. He will say things are not black and white but then say there are policies for a reason in the same breath. BCBAs were never given work laptops or phones so all client-sensitive information is on personal devices. Rbts use personal phones for data collection, another HIPPA issue. Rbts aren’t paid during canceled sessions and can’t afford their rent. The pto is only 10 days total for sick time and vacation. The salary is not competitive. Staff changes occur based on operational need rather than clinical/client needs. New ideas are ignored if they are not what the upper management wants to do. Bcbas who do the minimum make the same money as bcbas who go “above and beyond”
