Pros

InCommodities has everything in my opinion: - Work on a problem space that is critical to the green transition: If energy production isn't planned and balanced properly (energy trading is critical here), things break. And the more renewables are added, the more volatile the energy supply. - Autonomy and empowerment: InCommodities prides itself on bottom-up decision making where everyone can initiate and take responsibility for non-trivial decisions using an advice process. - Extreme transparency and trust. - Flat hierarchy. - Great pay. - Great location: Aarhus is lovely.

Cons

This is a place for high achievers. If you don't plan on giving your best and leaning into the culture, and instead prefer a low-effort, low-impact work-life, this place isn't for you.

Thank you for this awesome feedback. Really nice to read how you see the link between our work and the green transition - that’s exactly the impact we want to have. We’re glad the autonomy, trust, and transparency resonate with you. And yes, it’s definitely a place for people who want to push themselves and make a difference.

Pros

- Flexibility - Culture - Care about employees as people - Work life balance - Sense of belonging - Autonomy and super interesting job - Flat hierarchy - Learning options - Events and workshops

Cons

- Diversity is not yet the strong side, given it is a new company that grew really fast, but it is working hard on it and you can feel it. Generally colleagues are really nice and welcoming - In rare circumstances there is a bit the attitude of "I have been here longer so my my voice matters more"

Pros

Surrounded by great and helpful minds who are masters of their crafts, you quickly feel inspired. As a student worker, you get a lot of freedom while also being given appropriate responsibility for your tasks. They make it clear that school comes first and allow you to prioritise during busy exam periods. I’ve learned more here in half a year than I did in two years of school. The company makes a great effort to include even students in collegial events, and team leaders are good at having regular discussions about potential full-time employment after graduation.

Cons

A very fast-paced environment (which can be a pro if you enjoy that). Student salary not competitive compared to other sectors.

Thanks for your kind words - we’re happy to hear you feel inspired and supported as a student at InC. We know the pace can be intense, but it’s great that you see it as part of the learning curve.
