Pros

The health care plan is decent. 401k with matching available for full-time employees. Paid-time off is given all at once at the beginning of the year. Start with 140 hours with option to carry over a maximum of 40 hours to the next year. More hours are given the longer you work at the company.

Cons

No career development or upper movement. Engineers are laid off without much hesitation. A lot of software development is done oversees. In the past year, most of the cuts have been in the engineering department. Sales and marketing staff have either grown or stayed on. No company culture nor values.

Pros

Those still working for InFocus are great people, fun to work with, intelligent, and hard-working. The products are interesting and InFocus has a good name. The benefits package is really good and doesn't take too much out of the paycheck.

Cons

2016 was a year with several rounds of layoffs after a surge of acquisitions and hiring in 2015. It seems like the management don't know what they are doing, saying everything is great one month and then cutting a dozen people the next. There is no clear direction where we are going as a company and the salespeople don't seem to be able to bring any revenue. People are starting to job hunt because they know where this is going.

* Good work environment and values * Strong salary and benefits that beats any similar employer in this area * Employee freedom and independence (self-management required) * The company is willing to invest in acquiring/building teams * A lot of trust is given to employees that prove themselves * With proper leadership the company could have tremendous growth moving forward

Cons

* There is room for improvement, as there is with any successful company * Vision and strategy of the business could be better articulated to employees
