Pros

Extremely supportive leadership and focus on teamwork. The work done here by their many dedicated employees is nothing short of amazing. Their commitment to addressing the patient's Social Determinants of Health is a critical and unique addition to the nurse care management role. Life circumstances dictated I leave my position, otherwise I would have stayed on as an employee.

Cons

Occasional late hour work related to time difference coast to coast. However, hours could be flexed to accommodate.

Pros

I really enjoy working here. Every team has its own atmosphere, but I am grateful to be working with an amazing team. There is no feeling of nasty, toxic competitiveness and I don't work under anyone condescending. I don't feel micromanaged but I know this can be different throughout the company. I love that it's remote, and I've had no issues managing my work/life balance, personally. I started right before the merger so I am not too familiar with how things were prior to, but I have also worked in similar in person fields and other companies that were awful and toxic to the point of my mental health being impacted. I have not experienced that at all here. Care Coordinator starting pay can be low but if you continue to improve then you will notice multiple raises, sometimes more than one within a year. Overall I've enjoyed the past 2+ years here and I've worked in numerous times now.

Cons

More internal advancement; There has been a lot of change since I've started, some good, some bad. I think IH should continue to address current issues so that nothing falls through the cracks; They did lay off one of my managers and a few others last year. If that were to continue in the future then I would question job security.
