Strong Clinical Team

Pros

Included Health had strong core values as a company and strong leadership at the corporate level and clinical level. Mission driven organization with a lot of mission driven people improving access to affordable health care. The clinical practice had diverse leadership and the clinicians were also very diverse. The clinical culture was focused on quality with double blinded peer review and health plan analysis that backed up the clinical quality claims.

Cons

-merger was tough and some really strong performers went elsewhere -company got large and more corporate culture after the merger

Pay

Pros

Helped with getting licensing which is needed

Cons

They switched the pay scale on me and every provider in the company 6 months into working with them. In my 10 years as working as a NP, I have never had a job pay me less and it was not related to my performance. Actually in my WHOLE life this situation has never happened to me. They said the person they hired for their books made an error and they were paying us too much. On top of that instead of allowing providers to leave since that is not the amount we signed up for, they said that according to our contract if we left and hadn’t worked there for a year we would have to pay back the licensing fees. To think, this company wanted us to be accommodating with their pay mess up but they couldn’t be accommodating with us leaving since this was not the pay we agreed on. BEWARE.

Thanks for your candid feedback! This sounds frustrating and is never the experience we want for anyone at Included. We take your review seriously and will pass it along to leadership.
