Pros

A strong and stable company - it has been operating for over 75 years, and is deeply rooted into the city. Caring and “family” atmosphere is present through the majority of the company.

Cons

Challenging industry (especially after the enactment of the ACA). You trade high pay/compensation for job security. Specifically, you will never become a millionaire working there (generally speaking), but you also don’t have to worry about being “downsized.”

Pros

Great people, lots of community spirit, casual Fridays, gym in building, recently renovated office space, central location is easily accessible by public transportation

Cons

Low pay compared to similar companies in the same industry, little room for career growth, not enough emphasis is placed on work/life balance
