Pros

Many training courses are available online in Independence University. Many volunteering opportunities. Impressive medical, dental, vision benefits. Free gym at main building.

Cons

Company is cutting employees in many departments with duties moving to Highmark. IBC migrated to Highmark's systems. A few departments have exceptions for cutting employees.

Pros

The people at Independence Blue Cross are wonderful to work with and to interact with. I never had a bad encounter with anyone I came a cross.

Cons

Some of the work was mundane I do not think this was any IBC's fault it was just the nature of the job.
