Pros

Good company, lots of benefits

Mandatory in office presence. No exceptions, expensive to travel to location, expensive parking, originally remote and hybrid of choice and changed to 3 day in person mandatory job. Not practical for most positions

Pros

They have good PTO and other benefits. 401(k) starts after 90 days which is better than some that make you wait a year for company match. I like that they have an HSA but I’m starting to see more and more companies offer this anyways, and the PPO plans are better elsewhere. Kinda ironic

Cons

The pay isn’t in line with other companies. At least in my department there isn’t much room for growth/promotions. Which I think is why you get stuck with the same pay, so you find yourself having to change jobs to get a pay raise. The bonuses are low compared to other companies, I think that’s because we aren’t like a big financial company. But if the revenue was in the $40 billion range….i don’t know why the bonus can’t be higher. The new CEO does not care about employees feelings, he surprised the entire company with Return to Office when we had previously been lauded as extremely productive as a Remote company and stayed remote for over 4 years. He then laughed and joked about it when employees expressed concern. He basically said to go look for a different job. There seems to be no direction given to leadership, so everyone is just doing whatever and hoping to not get yelled at? I’m not sure but it’s a sh** show. In conjunction with return to office, they took away free lunch, free coffee, free parking, they did not prepare for employees to return so elevators were broken, desks were dusty, people had outdated monitors and were told to just wait for now. There’s no fridges or sinks, there’s not even paper towels. They didn’t plan ahead for ANYTHING. The ceiling was leaking. All of the suggestions employees offered up, not a single one was even given a second thought.
