Pros

Great experience for gaining knowledge about the healthcare and health insurance industry. IBC provided knowledge on the claims side, provider side, consumer side, broker care as well as group admin while I as there. With so much information being utilized simultaneously, one can become a versatile asset within the company.

Cons

Work environment was not very professional, felt like high school with all the separation of departments and groups within the same work area. A lot of dissention amongst leadership and new staff due to poor teaching and training methods, as well as difficult metrics to reach that were considered "standard" that were actually overwhelmingly exaggerated and tenured employees are favored more than all others as far as approvals for PTO, promotions, and other things.
