Compensation was okay, somewhat misleading, they will tell you that you will earn more than you do

Cons

They only care about profit, they don't care about the residents or employees, high turnover rate because they are not honest to their employees, they do not encourage or motivate employees, a very negative environment, arguing among staff, lots of lies from management, management is untrained and will blame lower employees for things that are their fault.

Pros

Flexible scheduling. Shift lengths can very to meet your schedule. The work keeps you busy, you wont get bored. Leave with food every night. Many people to meet. Long-term stress level is low.

Cons

Minimum pay, unruly and demanding residents. The short term stress level can get high due to hectic shifts. The chance for injury like burns, cuts, slips and falls is high.

Pros

When I switched from being a Nursing Home Administrator, I wondered how different independent living would be. It is different, but it’s a place where my job is to make it home for our residents. It’s a great company to work with. They genuinely have the residents and their employees at heart. They truly value work/life balance, and empower employees at every level.

Cons

I don’t opt for their benefits, so I can’t speak to those. My husband works for the County, and he has worked for them longer, so we opt for his benefits. I don’t have any plans of working for any other company. This one is truly an amazing company to work with.
