Some management are nice, some employees were fun to work with

Cons

Terrible pay. Executive management is terrible will want hourly emplouees to take a paycut and gige salary employees raises. Raises are yerrible. Many are 2 faced and will stab you in the back and are VERY fake

Pros

Room for advancement (I received 4 promotions in 5 years) Great mentors (but you may have to seek them out) Ability to make decisions and take initiative Access to senior management Flexibility in hours and work locations

Cons

Tendency of being a "good old boys" club - but I think that's more of a problem with the banking industry as a whole Some employees are held on to for much too long The compensation is not fair across departments, you have to fight for every dollar

Advanced Planning in IT minimal

Pros

There were many good people who worked here but the only reason things didn't fall apart on a daily, instead of weekly/monthly basis is because of constant heroics by the team.

Cons

There seems to be no strategic planning in the IT area. It's all one fire drill after another.
