Pros

Co workers Doctors Location Surgery center hours are normally great

Cons

Pay is terrible. CEOs make millions every year while wage slaves get a 1% slap in the face raise. Management doesn’t care about anyone. Benefits, pay, work load, staffing get worse and worse every year. CEO does not care about workers as long as he is making money. Would rather spend money on travelers just to fill gaps then give anything to permanent staff.

Pros

My coworkers cared deeply about their job.

Cons

- poor work/life balance - upper management only cares about money - myself and coworkers were burned out yet all they did was tell us to go through counseling. Didn’t do anything to try and help us. - 1% yearly raise…. Really? - during my exit interview my director said he cared about what I had to say but didn’t even bother to jot down anything I had to say (my list was long) - care more about us coming into work (I was outpatient) during a snowstorm to make money then us stay home for our own safety. - our building had a flood. Told all patients it wasn’t safe to occupy the building yet had us all come in and see patients virtually. - forced to take PTO if not busy enough - no time to document at work/ ton of take home work - no personal development - no effort to improve work conditions I’ll stop there. Don’t work here. I left healthcare because of this job.
