Pros

Great support from supervisors. Encourage creativity, and allow you to express yourself in an environment conducive to development. This is in the Rec Sports department.

Cons

The university is very disjointed among departments, which is expected. However, if you want to try different functions it may be hard to network with those people to have a realistic shot at doing so.

IU Campus Bus is one of the greatest part-time jobs available in Bloomington, IN.

Pros

The management and supervisory staff was amazing. They were extremely approachable and cared about employee's personal lives and situations. The job was also fun because you did not have a supervisor constantly looking over your shoulder while you were working. You could jump in the bus, put on your music, and just drive and talk to people for hours.

Cons

Working for a major university, there is a lot of red tape, and change takes a long time.

Pros

attention paid to work life balance, located in a an easy city to live in, nice coworkers, easy commutes to work, excellent support staff, employees seem valued, excellent gyms and fitness centers on campus

Cons

poor personal fit, low national recognition, pay was lower compared to other universities, many students lack motivation for a university setting - university needs to be more selective in who they admit, the strange iu - purdue mix makes politics very wierd
