Pros

Rewarded for work that you do. Not a 9-5 position and working over 40 hours a week is just a part of life. If you like to work hard and don't mind 50 + hour weeks then Indigo maybe right for you. If you like only 9-5 and nothing extra then this may not be for you. I love working here

Cons

The fast pace life is not for everyone. Decisions are made fast and you may not understand why because you don't know all the different teams, their functionality, and issues that maybe effecting them.

Pros

If you want to work alongside people who are incredibly passionate about our mission to change ag for the better and work hard at it, this is the right place.

Cons

The pace is incredibly fast - yet somehow still very organized and thoughtful. Work life balance can be a challenge but when you believe in the mission, it's always worth it in the end.

Pros

Lunch M-F, great health benefits, office environment, updated technology, fitness voucher, stock purchase plan, and a lot of opportunity to grow

Cons

DO NOT LEAVE YOU'RE CURRENT COMPANY WITHOUT READING THIS FIRST!!!!! Had I paid more attention to all the reviews, I wouldn't have left my previous company. Understand that there will be challenges and absolutely no structure when working for a startup company. I was very excited to start working here but now that I'm here, its hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. You're hired for one position but then realize you are doing everything but that job you were hired for. There is no direction/instruction in ANY department. You are basically self taught. If you can't handle daily changes, RUN!!!! Indigo has the potential to be one of the most, if not the only, profitable agriculture company in the world. Just have to go through the fire to get there. And truthfully, not sure how long that will be.

Hi – thank you for writing in….and yes, we are a startup! There are times when it feels ambiguous and I agree with you that Indigo is not going to be the right environment for every person. It’s why we’re really glad when people write in feedback to Glassdoor as it helps job seekers figure out if it’s the right environment. I’m surprised by your comment about a lack of structure and would be interested to learn more. One way I believe we provide structure is by setting quarterly goals at the company level, department level, and individual level. Achievement against these goals is tied to individual bonuses and every employee completes these and has a review with his or her manager at the end of the quarter. If this process is not giving you that, and if you aren’t finding the training you need through our training library on Grovo, please do talk with your manager or one of us on the People team. Again, appreciate you sharing your input and glad that you see the potential for Indigo to grow and for you to grow.
