Pros

Amazing, smart people at the top of their game. Interesting business model. Fascinating science. At the time, a charismatic, popular CEO. Diversity hires well taken care of at the time - they will find a role for you if initial one doesn't work out.

Cons

Pervasive fear and anxiety throughout the company over merry-go-round of hirings, firings, re-orging people out. One of the few firms to do large layoffs AFTER receiving a huge round of financing. You may be the fourth new person in two years in your role. You can be laid off before you get to set your first quarterly objectives. And the silos have been there all along because the leadership has no reward or obligation to integrate.
