Pros

Inductive Automation was an absolutely fantastic place to work. From my first day of working at Inductive Automation, I knew I was a valued member of their team. From the CEO down, it is evident that all levels of management share a common thread of humility. This created an atmosphere of trust that allowed me to look forward to coming to work every single day. The contribution of new ideas is possible and encouraged because as a company, there is constant learning and growth taking place. It's very exciting to be involved with a company experiencing success, and that is Inductive Automation! But even more important to me was the fact that I was invested in as an employee. One of my favorite parts of the job was learning about the product. As an individual who came in not knowing a great deal about SCADA software, I was so thrilled to learn about Ignition. There are willing teachers around every corner in the form of engineers, support specialists, and even the CEO who are eager to share their knowledge with new employees. There is a sense of community at Inductive Automation. No matter your job title, you will encounter inclusion for all employees which I really appreciated! If you are considering pursuing a job at Inductive Automation, DO IT! An opportunity to work at Inductive is an opportunity to learn and thrive in an environment of support.

Cons

I did not run into any issues nor concerns during my time at Inductive Automation. The only reason I had to seek alternative employment was because I was commuting over four hours per day to get to Folsom. Had I not been pursuing a degree online, the commute probably would have been worth it!

Pros

Inductive Automation is growing rapidly in terms of both customer base and employees. It is nice that every employee stands behind the Ignition product (main software IA sells) and is genuinely excited about it. The company always looks at existing employees and their skills before they hire on new employees, there is a lot of room to grow with IA and they ensure their pay is competitive. Top Leadership is always present and very open to ideas and feedback. They are also very passionate about the company, the employees and the customers.

Cons

Our currently building is getting a little tight because of all the new hiring we are doing BUT we are moving to a new remodeled building in the beginning of 2018.

Pros

Everyone is generally nice. The product is great, but unfortunately, I don't see it lasting for more than 10 years due to poor leadership.

Cons

Don't expect much in terms of professional growth. They hire you for a certain position and want you to continue doing exactly what you were hired to do. They pay is terrible.
