Pros
1. All positive comments are written by employees who are forced to do so in order to get their relieving letters and full and final pay. 2. You are paid below industry standards. Much below standards and no hikes. Appraisals are meaningless. It doesn't reflect in your salary if good, but will definitely affect negatively if you are average and also if you dont give a very positive review on glassdoor. 3. You are treated like a slave. the owner of the company uses abusive language both hindi and english and doesnt even spare if women are present in the crowd. 4. There are no projects. they got a project by mistake long ago which the client has threatened to pull out from multiple times. One day the client is going to get fed up and leave and the company will run solely on the money got from body shopping. Going by current US trends that is also going to stop very soon. 5. You get paid less and have to sit around all day trying to avoid getting sick from the polluted environment outside the office. There is a cow shed and and open well where people from the slums come to have a bath right opposite the office building. You will see it when you come for the interview. 6. If you travel by bike, there is always a chance of your bike getting damaged by the kids of the nearby slums playing on it. There are slums nearby which makes travelling a night mare at night if you are a girl. The company used to provide a car drop to andheri station, but thats only when the drivers are not on leave or catering to the boss on his india visit. To use that service when available you have to sit really late. 7. When you leave the company you don't get your salary on notice period for upto a year. The president often says he prefers to pay those who work for him and not those who have left, so once you put your papers down and are in the THREE MONTH NOTICE period, your next salary will come after you finish one month at the new company so be prepared for that. 8. You don't get experience letters ever. They have a policy where the company you join has to call them to verify if you worked there. Many people who have left have had issues joining another company because of this. Many companies refuse to hire someone from here, saying they don't get any proper paperwork. So if you are evaluating more than one company, it gets even harder and your documentation is at the mercy of the HRs availability. This will create problems for you even many years in the future and you will be forced to show this as employment gap. This is the one reason that is sufficient to make any time you spent here wasted. They have many such policies which they will remove from time to time verbally. There is no written policy as such because you can then use that to fight them. so everything is told verbally. ONSITE offices 1. Incorrect paperwork will result in you getting deported and risk a life time ban to the US on any visa. This is common news among all employees both current and past. They don't have a good success rate but will make up some figure to prove otherwise. 2. Every single person who returned from the US office talks of the sorry state of both infrastructure as well as mood of the office. People who dont get placed get abusive threats from the president and are sent back without getting paid for the time spent there. 3. Ex employees who worked there speak of the threats they received when they tried to leave. 4. They will also file legal cases on you if you leave.
Cons
There is no canteen in the India office. Not sure about the US office. They don't have a proper restroom also. its either broken or under renovation.
