Pros

Pretty much none, the company makes money by lying to employees during interview and hiring process. They totally lie about this job and potential. The job will be a black eye on your resume because you will have to explain why you stayed at a job for only 3 months and quit.

Cons

Everything they tell you is a Lie. Everything you read in the glowing reviews here (which were written by upper management) is a lie. Infinity lies to you when hired and says you will be SELLING DISH and making good money. What they fail to tell you in 75% of the calls are CUSTOMER SERVICE issues from current customers who got lied to and are tied into a contract. They will call and vent and waste your time. You receive VERY FEW sales calls. DISH has an online portal to sign up for new service and lots of people use it instead of talking to a script reading telemarketer. This is the future, most people are web savvy and the few sales calls you get will be from people who don't know how to use the internet and take FOREVER to close because you have to explain everything to them 20 times. Infinity is in business to provide customer service to DISH which they trick you into doing for FREE. They do not give away a new car every quarter. That is a lie. The owner gave a car to the CEO one year ago and they have been using that as a basis to lie ever since. Ask them to show you the invoice and title transfer records of a car the gave to a COMISSIONED SALES person. They can't. The FREE LUNCH is also a over blown lie. They cancel lunch all the time forcing you to work through. Every blue moon they will bring in like 10 pizzas for 200 people. They cut the pizzas into 30 TINY slices LOL, still laughing about that lie. The bottom line is you make VERY LITTLE money because of the service call issue. That is the biggest lie which is the most damaging, Realistically you can expect a check of 150-300 dollars a week. That is BEFORE taxes. Most sales people here are waiting for the economy to improve so we can jump ship and find real jobs. Pass on Infinity it is a waste of time and will hurt your resume.

Pros

The surrounding scenery outside the office is beautiful; on a break you can sit at any picnic table next to the fountain on the lake so you can reflect or enjoy a meal. They give away constant promotions like IPAD minis, cruises and even cars which is extremely generous and keeps agents driven. With 3 weeks of paid, in-depth training with quality trainers that used to be top sales agents- it's no wonder why new agents, after completing training, come onto the sales floor closing sales ABOVE office average. ISG sets you up to succeed but it's up to you to close the sale and up-sell products. There are also tons of opportunities for upward mobility in the company- just make sure you work every call and get your numbers to where they need to be. Work those calls and you'll see your paychecks growing and growing each pay period.

Cons

It feels like everyone smokes cigarrettes- which agents seem to enjoy littering around the building. When the phones are ringing like crazy, and the sales are coming in more than anticipated, mgmt may decide to pull meals--- BUTTTTT they'll bring in delicious food instead so I guess it makes that alright! They bring in food like some meaty Jimmy Johns deli platters, Crispy Chik-fil-A, cheesy pizza and more!
