Pros

Hires a lot of young people out of college. If are looking for experience, this is the place to go. Can gain experience in a lot of different areas rapidly.

Cons

Pay is not the best. No real employee retention program. Overload young works to burn out. The more work accomplished the heavier the workload given. Make the same amount as the person with tiny work load.

Pros

Hourly new hires are provided with sufficient training. The company has remained profitable even during tight economic periods. Most people there are great to work with on a daily basis. All employees receive job performance reviews on a regular basis. Some room for advancement. They strive to provide a professional work enviornment for the most part. Even though healthcare benefit costs are high, they have made an effort to offer other benefits and amenities to offset the cost.

Cons

Lower and mid- level employees are underpaid while they are expected to take on more tasks. The executive management level is a bit top heavy and includes people that have been in their position for some years earning hefty salaries. This also leads to the cronyism and nepotism that is commonplace. The Peter Principle can also be found with many individuals. Those that are masterful with words have managed to advance into management positions. IMC could also make more of an effort to implement diversity throughout their management staff with aggressive recruiting. Diversity amongst the account staff, for example, is an embarrassment to say the least.

Pros

Family oriented, this company cares about it's employees and really takes care of them all. Great place to work - the people are amazing

Cons

Constant change - but I suppose that's the nature of the business. You have to be willing to change to stay ahead of the industry
