Cons
- Sales department is accountable for everything wrong with the company
- non-existing top-down communication about plans/goals/vision, only high-level theoretical plans (no actual plans on how to do something)
- most of middle and top management is not capable to give day-to-day decision (or even answer to emails/messages)
- people being fired on spot without realizing how it will affect the rest of the people (business related, I don't need to speak about personal effects)
- salary depends on your negotiations skills / new people are more valued than existing employees
- management is often unrealistic about targets and way of work (same targets for every region)
- constant focus changes and then blaming people for not being able to adapt on a quarterly basis
- constantly working on lowering bonus payouts by complicating it or not communicating the exact model
- employing smart/experienced sales people and then wasting their time on internally educating them about basics of sales
- there is too many people who are working something (making presentations, reporting, etc.) and in the same time some departments are heavily understaffed.
It could be a good story, but at the moment it is not. I hope some things will change for the better in the future.
