      Good company being driven to the ground due to lack of strategy and leadership!

      Pros

      Great foundation build by the previous team - Good and loyal customer base

      Cons

      - New leadership coupled with unexperienced executive staff. Long time leaders are being replaced. Unclear direction on strategy and its relevance to the changing market needs. Original concept was visionary but too difficult to execute. - Vulnerable space of DNS, DHCP and IPAM. A lot of new offerings compete and customers are migrating to cloud for all services. Who wants a BIND (open source) appliance in the network with management head ache.

      In flux and confused, political

      Pros

      Centralized grid management with some very knowledgeable coworkers

      Cons

      Engg organization was very old school and siloed. Felt like 3 different companies inside. Very political environment with a yes-man culture. Single release with ton of dependencies. Strange release plan dynamics with marketing folks. Many left out of frustration with engg mgmt

      Growing Pains

      Pros

      Nice Building. Decent salaries. Some departments allow for flex hours. Dinner for those that work late.

      Cons

      High turnover. Low morale in some departments. Constant finger pointing. Some departments seem to constantly demand overtime from their teams. Let's hope they turn this around with the new management they brought in.
