Pros

- The ability to work remotely is a big plus - Benefits are not half bad - Great work life balance (depends on manager/team)

Cons

- Low compensation - Weak leadership and managers - Frequent reorgs and layoffs - No growth, your skills will stagnate quickly - Dead-sea effect in place here - No bonus or stocks If you must work here, it's in your best interest to not stay for too long. Get the experience you need and leave within a couple of years, or you will be in for a soul-crushing adventure.

Pros

Great customers, great solution offerings.

Cons

Poor upper and middle management in place! They truly do not "manage", rather force sales of solutions that are not appropriate for the customer in order to make their numbers! Customer care is NOT their priority; which is unfortunate, for their customers are wonderful!

Product Management versus IT

Pros

1. Relatively flat organization structure 2. higher ups 'generally' do not meddle with daily work as long as work is getting done 3. benefits are at par with market 4. Flexible timings in some teams 5. Allows remote work 6. Infor culture varies with teams, since most of the teams are a shadow of who they were before Infor acquired them. 7. Product development is the place to be, whichever product that might be, higher in the selling matrix the better.

Cons

1. Their IT is currently messed up pretty bad, long serving employees are not getting very good treatment. Even if they are considered to be the 'flab' that needs to be shed, there is a respectable way of doing it. Danger of losing job if someone stands up and calls a senior exec out. 2. There is a clear direction from CEO, however the collaboration between teams is not very productive. 3. Get a feeling, they are trying to do 'everything' that can be done in the tech industry at the same time, without much leadership
