      Pros

      Many product directors had strong vision for a thoughtful future amongst an ever present dominant engineering team culture. Lots of room for UX growth. Scalable and complex work. You can do well here if you’re patient, politically savvy and do your best to execute in a way that aligns with leadership.

      Cons

      Direct manager was absent until 6 months into the job making day-to-day work difficult and understanding company priorities extremely hard. Products rely heavily on legacy systems that need a major overhaul and make it extremely hard to make even the smallest of changes. Bad attitudes are protected. Even seasoned UX designers, UX input can be disregarded when asked to join and deliver too late in the stage of development or through incorrect channels. (Several times placed on projects that were scoped incorrectly)
