Pros

Good product based company. It is a fast growing company leader in its space. Management is very supportive towards work.

Cons

Depends on the team you are joining. In general huge work pressure is there. It leads to a disbalance of work and life.

Pros

Pays well. Office is in a nice area. Nice gym membership. Challenging projects. The people are generally very nice and friendly

Cons

Cubicles, no private office unless you are very high up. Cafeteria food is pretty bad. Can get pretty busy sometimes.

Pros

Informatica is the best tech company I have worked at in my career. Company leadership really tries to make this a good place for employees and the company is winning in the market place. Some of the Pros include: - Very little politics for a company of this size - Pay is at the high end relative to other Bay Area tech companies - High level of trust in employees. Non-management employees generally allowed to make decisions - INFA actively invests in both Products and People - Company is doing well in the marketplace and on Wall Street - Leadership (SVP and above) is very experienced and knows what they are doing - Generous vacation allowance

Cons

Few to report here: - Relatively small company size makes it difficult to find promotional opportunities within the company. - Constant takeover rumors. Job may not be secure if company is acquired. A major issue is that the company allows for no stock options acceleration in case of an acquisitions - Some benefits are not aligned with market (e.g. no paid maternity leave, sick days count against vacation balance)
