Sometime you might get good work. Free lunch Subsidized transport Flexible working hours Decent Hike (in some project) Good team Outing sometimes.

Cons

1. Politics is increasing Day by Day. (Blame game) 2. Salaries are not competitive anymore. 3. People are hired with salaries more then existing employees ,with no mark of correction. 4. Poor quality work most of the times. 5. Lot of good people have started leaving ,hence quality has reduced. 6. Will not recommend Informatica to anyone.Try other good opportunities outside.

Mismanaged Effort at Informatica.

Pros

You never feel overworked. You never have to stay too late (this may depend on your manager though). Regular raises keep salaries competitive.

Cons

Location is far from downtown Redwood City. Java code base is 10 years old. C++ code base dates from the mid-90's. We're stuck on Java 7 and pre-C++ 98. Code has many obvious bugs and performance issues but feature development is prioritized over any kind of code audit or cleanup. In practice we wait until a customer hits one of these issues before fixing them.
