      Good Company to work but was better before

      Pros

      Good team and quality of work Most of the products are ruling the market Decent management Great office Space So many events throughout the year, kudos to HR and Employee club No regionism/ any kind of bias Company facilities are good

      Cons

      Too few leaves Outings have been localized since past 1-2 yrs, they are no such fun like before Pay is okayish not that good Food served is not very diverse in nature, more of typical south indian types HR is not so keen to take or act on employee feedback No bonus on Diwali or any festival but gifts are decent. In some teams its all about work and no fun. Hike cycle is bad for people joining in some particular months/ they have to wait for 1.5 yrs

      Micromanagement at every level and no career progression

      Pros

      Informatica has a great product to offer and is a true leader in Data Management market, product management is great

      Cons

      micromanagement on each level of doing business no trust from management no support in further progress, no training, constant cuts in commissions and accounts coverage bad non-supportive management that protects their personal interests only low salaries comparing to market levels and commissions cuts non-supportive when it comes to parental leave or longer vacations

      Comfortable But Uninspired

      Pros

      -Absolutely everyone is incredibly nice to work with, very kind people over all. - Redwood City office is very nice and newly remodeled. -Work is stable, deadlines reasonable, fair compensation -Flexible work environment allows remote work. -A great place if you don't have much ambition and just want a job where you can get paid fairly well and go home.

      Cons

      -Incredibly uninspiring workplace. The entire company is clocking in zoning out and clocking out. -The flexible work arrangement is great, but people aren't really ever fully engaged you get everyone working at 60% capacity at all hours of the day rather than coming in and actually working during normal hours at full capacity. -Antiquated systems and technical debt are weighing things down and IT is rushing into everything with an absolute minimum viable product attitude. -IT process rely extremely heavily on off shore resources. Not a unique situation but when everything is happening on an off shore time zone you question who is really running the business at that point. -Pretty large lack of diversity even by bay area tech standards.
