Learning curve is long for new employees

People do not work together, cross organizations or cross department. There is a mindset to only focus on your quarterly goals not the goals of the organization or company. There are multiple teams working on the same deliverables and no communication or alignment. It may be a different experience if you work at headquarters - but in this day and age a company should be better skilled at engaging, supporting and including remote employees.
