Pros

Exceptional pay and benefits (inluding flex-time, gym membership or reimbursement), great culture and phenomenal coworkers. Very unique and interesting industry. Leadership committment to continuous improvement.

Cons

Cons are very minor but: At times, departments do not seem perfectly aligned as far as objectives are concerned. As great as culture is, we can be a bit "prideful to change".

Pros

Very family oriented with great benefits and great people as evinced by so many of the employees have been there at least twenty years and more. The company invests a lot of resources in the employees through training and education, an employer-paid masters degree program, college assistance for the children of employees and providing physical surroundings conducive to a pleasant work environment. The time-off policies are exceptional.

Cons

The workload can be very heavy and varied with many different deadlines and can be quite stressful.

Ingram is the largest Barge company in the industry. The company prides themselves with core family values, zero harm, customer satisfaction and teamwork environment.

Cons

For applicants desiring to work on the river it does require travel up to a 28 day schedule being away from home.
