      Release Chaos and Manager Gaslighting

      The people I met were nice.

      Cons

      Their Release ways of working is pure chaos. There are so many cooks in the kitchen, it quickly showcases ineptness. My manager and my colleagues gaslit my performance up until the day they decided to let me go. I was told I was doing well, then when I was let go, I was told I didn't do well from the day I started. If you work for this group, be prepared for a 60-hour week. Also, do not get sick. Never get sick. They want to grind you to dust with an overload of information and work. I also suspect them of wage theft as I did not get a final check for hours worked.

      Pros

      Obviously depends on your specific team but I’ve worked with many. Overall talented and motivated creatives and process-focused AM/PM. Leadership’s standards are high but you’ll get back from them what you put in. Like AM roles at most agencies, you can slide by with the bare minimum but you can’t expect promotions or good accounts.

      Cons

      Overall the relationship with Inizio as a parent company leaves much to be desired. The way layoffs were handled in 2023-2024 was egregious and that sentiment is shared across all Evoke agencies (all the way to the top). Inizio lost a lot of trust but I know that he they are well aware of that. Unfortunately we won’t really be able to tell how seriously they take it without seeing how they handle layoffs next time. The layoffs were clearly impulsive as resourcing has been a nightmare for many departments since. It does seem to be getting better and opportunities to staff with new hires have expanded in recent months.

      Very inclusive and diverse Competitive salary

      Job was totally different to what was described Literally zero onboarding until I questioned it My reporting manager was very senior and regularly cancelled our 1:1's, making it very difficult to settle in and get up to speed Almost totally remote, no interaction with team members Lack of progression options Often belittled by senior members, much of my work time was spent creating PPT slides for them rather than having any creative freedom in campaigns Company was bought out and culture deteriorated
