      Pros

      I was in ITO team. There is no work to do you just come to office and do some side business. Salary on time. Timely give some training(on any topic) relevant or not, and loop some higher management in mail so that they think you are intelligent.

      Cons

      If you have GOOD RELATION with your manager(or you do lunch with them )then only you will get increment in your salary otherwise you will not get salary hike.

      Small department, so visibility can be good, if you are technically good, or you are good at flattering managers

      Cons

      Biased appraisals/promotions Managers not knowledgeable HR policies change at levels. Basic facilities can be reduced at any time in the name of cost cutting.
