      Pros

      Nice friendly atmosphere, plenty of opportunity to contribute towards the development of new techniques and research strategies. Managers listen to research staff, lots of freedom to explore new ideas. Good work life balance, the company cares about its staff.

      Cons

      The pace of work can be a bit slow, they're keen to make improvements and adopt new methods and technologies. People are unwilling to change the way they do things. Although that probably goes for most large companies.

      The only positive is the experience that can be gained.

      Cons

      There is a very high turnover for this position. It’s a dead end job. Upper management does not appreciate this position.
