Hmm..where should I start?
Growth - When I first started working here, I was told that this would be a great company for growth and career development. This is not true at all. My role was suddenly changed because of new management. Half of the company was also laid off suddenly. Unless you are already an executive or very high in the company, there is no chance for growth.
Management - Managers here are horrible. My own manager is clueless. Like I said, they recently hired two new executive leaders who are making a lot of changes and cuts to the company. They have fired people who have been with the company for years. Let's not even get started on the CEO and president. The CEO will walk down the halls every so often. One time he popped his head into the kitchen and said "get to work". He is very off putting and cold. The President is very rude and brash. He says anything that comes to his head without thinking.
Morale - There is no motivation or morale within the company. Everyone walks around unhappy, looking scared they may lose their job the next day. Leadership will make changes within the company and no one will know. No email - nothing! The only way you'll know if someone if not with the company anymore is through gossip. They promised bonuses for years and I still haven't received anything. There are also alot of "personal" relationship going on between managers and leadership. It is also a very cliquish place. The CMO is neighbors with the CEO. Don't get me wrong, a lot of people are very smart specifically in the product department. But it's who you know and not what you know.
Diversity - Ha! They have these posters around the building talking about how Inovalon is diverse. This place is the exact opposite. There used to be a few people of color working here but most of them have been fired. There is no diversity in sales, marketing, or anywhere in leadership. Hmm...I wonder why not. My own manager has even talked about my hair and made very racist jokes.
Last but not least - do not trust the positive reviews on here. I was told by someone in the marketing department that they personally get on Glassdoor and write positive reviews to outweigh sooo many negative reviews. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Stay away from Inovalon! I still work here but not for long.
