      Remote opportunity, willing to train.

      I got hyped up about this position only to be disappointed. They schedule you for a two-week training class and provide you with a desktop, a laptop, new hire instructions and a ICD-9 book. Literally 2 business days before the class was supposed to start, and the exact same day that I got an email confirmation from fedex that my materials were on the way, the recruiter contacted me and said the class was "cancelled" due to "financial reasons". Now I am stuck with equipment that I don't need and there was no return label to send it back and I am not paying for the shipping because it is a 9 lb package! And when I emailed the recruiter to ask what to do I never received a response!

      Cons

      Very fast-paced environment is not the right fit for everyone - requires you to always be on your toes and ready to pivot/adapt without much/any prior notice.
