Being in the healthcare industry is exciting. There is a huge opportunity in this business and one can feel how you make a positive difference in other people's lives.
Cons
The company is using a lot of slogans. Flyers are everywhere about collaboration, agility, learning. But when it comes to actions very little is done. The company does VERY little to identify the few really bad apples that make Inovalon a less than desirable workplace. For the most part people are good, but the fistful of terrible, egocentric, narcissistic, incompetent leaders create a culture of fear which in turn influences productivity, innovation and progress. It is certainly not unique to Inovalon but one would hope that a company that has some really good 21st century management ideas would go all the way. The truth is: they don't.
