      Pros

      I look forward to coming to work everyday. I get to work with colleagues who are not only talented (on top of their respective fields), but are also genuinely nice and caring. This is true not only for my department but across other departments as well. I derive great joy from working with them. Respectful of my experience and subject matter expertise, my manager gives me the full autonomy to do my job with no micromanagement. Yes, this job is intense and high pressure, but any high caliber job would be. The important thing is that you have happy moments while you're doing your job, being recognized for your hard work, and experience professional growth. I have all of that at Inovalon.

      Cons

      I would appreciate more flexibility in my job. As a woman with family, it'd be nice to be able to work from home with more regularity. The benefits can definitely be better (e.g., 7 paid federal holidays, high deductible insurance plans, etc.)

      Pros

      I love working for Inovalon for a number of reasons. My coworkers are talented, bright, friendly, and professional. People are happy to answer questions and help you work through challenges. Upward mobility is not just possible, it is actively encouraged. I am constantly exposed to new challenges and tasks that stretch my professional skills and encourage me to grow. Inovalon's commitment to it's core values shapes everything we do as employees. Integrity, nimbleness, service, passion, innovation, respect, and excellence - these are not just words (or an acronym), they are at the heart of what Inovalon's "culture" means. I can honestly say that I have been surprised by the way so many employees take these values to heart and make them a part of the daily work environment. I love working for this company. No one is making me say this - it's true. I send recommendations for jobs here to people I know ALL THE TIME.

      Cons

      I would love to see more/better professional training. Some of the training sessions we have are informative - but very dry. As someone who didn't start in the healthcare industry, the training I received was difficult to understand. There were many acronyms and complex data explanations, and not a lot of "layman's" terminology.

      Be Ready If This Is Something You Really Want Do

      Pros

      I had an amazing support system that helped me every step of the way during my time at INOVALON INC. These RC's (Review Coordinators) are excellent when it comes to the communication needed to get the job done which was the best aspect of this job. Doesnt require much to get the job done and if you are very detail oriented you will succeed. The regular pressures of a 9am-5pm are not at this job and the flexibility does create less stress than most traditional jobs.

      Cons

      The inconsistency of work will drive you mad. One paycheck will be in the thousands, the next check could be $300, which to me is no way to live and support yourself especially in NY. It is the main reason I left the job. Managements lack for positions beneath them including giving what field workers need in order to get the task done as well. The work is not guaranteed which means at some point you wont be happy. You will over extend yourself as I have trying to make my superiors look good but trust you will not be rewarded for anything extra. My advice to Site Data Collectors, dont over extend yourself, they're not worth it.
