      TAMPA CALL CENTER CLOSES UNDER THE COVER OF NIGHT.

      Pros

      At the time i was looking for job stability, they paid well and provided benefits. It sounded great but it was not reality.

      Cons

      There was always an incredible amount of pressure with supervisors stocking you, recording you and replaying the calls as they wished. Everyone was unhappy and in fear even the supervisors were stressed, all afraid to loose their jobs. Everyone was afraid to talk because they fired their employees at the drop of a hat. In the end everyone came in to work and were fired one by one and no one knows why.

      Great Industry... promising company... but needs to start focusing on problems at home

      Pros

      Good industry to be part of. Industry alignment is strong and offers opportunities for continued growth and stability. Salaries are fairly competitive. Employee Benefits are acceptable.

      Cons

      Leadership culture is so dollar-driven that it focuses entirely on making the sales promises and fails to care about the people that are responsible for delivering on those promises. Leadership decisions and justifications for promotions are questionable.

      Focus is on numbers, not people

      Pros

      Generally able to take time off with and without pay, no weekends or holidays, and good hours. The compensation is adequate but benefits are expensive. My co-workers are working for the good of the patient and do excellent work. Supervisors bring cookies or trinkets-which they don't get reimbursed for.

      Cons

      Supervisors have been beaten down and have become "yes men" and middle management have been driven away and not replaced. People continue to leave and are not replaced. Jobs are assured and then people are laid off. Staff are receiving disciplinary action despite being told the metrics are unrealistic. Morale is low and nurses feel very pressured to provide poor care. In the two years I have been with Inovalon, quality and actually taking care of the member has gotten worse.
