Pros

It was great doing over-reads at home. Then they decided to train my team to do coding!!. No choice.

Cons

Taken away from my CI position because my team did so well. SO THEY SAID! Asked what will happen if I couldn't do coding. OH don't worry, you'll pass. Impossible to pass. Fired!!! Didn't want this position and had no voice in the matter.

Pros

You can learn a lot of things because you are given lot's of work and it's due the next day.

Cons

Please don't work here. If you are really want to work 12 hours and day and some weekends then take the offer. They attract employees by giving them more salary but it's not at all a good place to work. Everyone is stressed out people have no life there. They work till 7 - 8 p.m everyday and work from home in the weekends. I have seen my manager getting old within six months in front of my eyes including few Grey hair that popped out. Also, they have meeting like crazy...

Pros

A few good people to work with; however, they're usually out the door pretty quickly after they arrive.

Cons

Leadership comes from the top down, and MedAssurant's leadership swings from disinterested to nearly sociopathic at a moment's notice. The CEO is unpredictable, praising staff one moment and then exploding in rage over something insignificant (e.g. a misspelling) the next. When skilled staff and management are acquired, they typically are fired or quit within less than a year due to the volatile environment and shoddy "products" they are expected to stand behind. Work/life balance is nonexistent, and trying to stand your ground for personal time can lead to a harsh reprimand or outright dismissal. Your nights, weekends, sick days, and vacation time all belong to the company, as far as management is concerned. Benefits and salary are more than subpar for the industry, and given the unreasonable workload you are expected to manage. Management actively works to obscure as much about company operations and financials as possible, and having seen some of this information, I can understand why. Depending on who you ask, many of the company's core business lines are either unethical or possibly illegal. If you value your professional integrity and personal sanity, I would avoid this company like the plague.
