Cons
The department I worked in was micromanaged. Projects only included senior management. There was no opportunity for development or advancement. I was told by my manager that I would not be promoted while I was here. Promotions were based on favoritism. Senior management didn’t want any opinions just wanted you to do what they told you. At one point management wanted to read emails before they were sent. Deviations are created for EVERYTHING. Senior management gives extremely vague instructions and no timeline for completion of tasks, but then will tell you the next day it is due in two or three days. Everything is a fire drill and senior management doesn’t seem to know what they want or have clear expectations. It was a toxic environment to work in and not productive. Leaving was the best decision I made.
