Pros

Good PTO, Excellent benefits, friendly co-workers.

Cons

Insperity has changed over the years and not for the best. They started hiring alot of outside people for management positions who are not people friendly and treat you like you haven't been here for over 5 years already. Micromanagement is the new ongoing theme. There is lack of concern for employees and the morale is at a all time low.

Pros

Good volunteer time, PTO and benefits. Great people to work with (co-workers).

Cons

Some people in management do not trust their employees and try to micro-manage without having probable cause. The company thrives on mutual respect however it seems that this doesn't apply to managers. Insperity promotes opportunity for growth but this isn't necessarily true. Also, work-life balance does not apply to all departments.

Pros

-work life balance, amount of PTO -friendly employees -concern for the customers' well-being -training program for new hires is well-developed -process oriented for those who like processes -strong CRM system when properly used

Cons

-insular thinking at all levels of management -no opportunity for innovation -salary half that of industry average in most markets -HR minimally involved in daily happenings, strange for an HR company -not a good place to "come from" when entering the job market. No one knows who you are -not a sustainable business model for the future, upper management fighting healthcare reform as selling health benefits is the only real value proposition for their customers. Few opportunities for autonomous decision-making which means the non-thinkers love it and the thinking employees move to other companies.
