Pros

Decent people( staff level) decent product

Cons

Weak Sr. Management( all are Chinese from China); they expect employees to work long hours; weekend requirement to greet the Big Boss CEO from China whenever he comes to visit; No career growth if you are not Chinese from China and does not belong to the communist party. They refuse to learn the Western communication/management style; no trust for American employees

Pros

Office location is close to Microsoft campus

Cons

If you requested a salary raise, they will give you their decision after 3 to 6 months. Even it is a "No". If you submit a expense reimbursement, you will receive your money back after at least 2-3 months. I received several phone call/ test message during off hours, if it is not professional at all.

Pros

I don't have to work overtime or after I put in my 8 hours.

Cons

They treat the employees like children- remote working is not allowed, despite the open offices that are incredibly disruptive and have cheap, non-ergonomic furniture. Management is not transparent, and communication is not typical. You learn things via the grapevine that should be communicated directly to the teams. There is no review system in place to tell you how you are doing. There is a strong preference for Chinese-speaking employees. If you don't speak Chinese, you will be left out of communications with management and any social contact with the Chinese-speaking teams. The culture is basically segregated by language. Equipment provided by the company is shoddy. My current laptop is over 4 years over and doesn't have enough memory or USB ports to be fully functional. The overall office is dumpy, with dirty white leather couches in strange places.
