Pros

The pay is great if you can handle the lack of culture.

Cons

Being the seniormost member on a team means taking the blame for everyone under you, even when they act with impunity. Make sure you never end up being promoted into a scapegoat. You are given no grace for personal struggles or exigent circumstances. If you are not constantly moving up, you are managed out. Management and leads are coached NOT to care about people! Oh, and the insurance blows. Carrot Fertility is a misandrist joke.

Pros

It was a great launching pad into a lucrative career that stimulates growth.

Cons

Working at this company is stagnating and emotionally draining. In the end, they enjoy communicating the idea of “family” (avoid any company that throws that word around), but they will overwork and underpay you if they can get away with it. If you do work here, get your experience and get out as soon as you can.

Pros

I worked as a shopper for 3 months in 2019 to pay off a credit card as a supplement to my normal FT job in IT. Weekly pay. Set own hours. Newbies get priority. Most of the time it was fine, just shopping and delivering groceries. But all in all I could work when I wanted and made in 3 months FT shopping, = what I made in just 2 weeks working in IT.

Cons

They send you shops that if you turn down 3 in a row you get booted out of your shift and if you do that a few shifts in a row you get suspended. This forces shoppers to take low paying crappy shops no matter what...perpetuating long drive/low pay/tip dependency and enabling Karens everywhere. Later in 2019 instacart settled a lawsuit and I got a settlement check for about 1/3 of what I origially made. BECAUSE THEY ARE SHADY and a lawsuit was the only reason they made good.
