Pros

- Smart colleagues - Somewhat competitive salary - Flexible working hours - Health insurance (Medicare) - Good office space / equipment - Office lunch

Cons

- Hire C# developers, then decide it's a Java company - Hire Java developers, then decide it's a Javascript company - Oncall is not paid for, which is extremely unfair at the very least. Some teams have no oncall, some teams you're on rotation every 3 weeks with constant issues Since KKR acquired the company: - Announce extra vacation time for Hungarian employees, then go back on it 2 weeks later - Loss of RSU package, replaced with a system that's worse in every aspect, we can't even guess how much it's going to be worth and it's only paid out if you stay with the company for 3-5+ years when KKR decides to sell the company and even then, they have no legal obligation to pay it out as it's not an RSU or a stock option - Wellness benefits essentially halved in Hungary, calling it "regional price adjustment" - Low pay raise - Hire 100 new people, then let go of 60, all in the span of 6 months - Back to office policy on whim (2-3 days per week), despite not even having enough office tables + chairs and the fact that most people are doing overtime in the late evening to have more overlap with the US collegues

Pros

Unlimited pto is the only benefit.

Cons

There is an executive cult that is reckless, unable to keep a budget, and is currently moving to “return to office “ to push quiet layoffs. They are not truly remote, they burn out talented employees, and will quickly force an early exit from their investors.
