Pros

IAS is a brand name at this point. Due to the geo-political climate and brand safety concerns that are introduced by thriving social platforms, IAS is simply in the right space/place at the right time. Compensation seems to be inline with market value.

Cons

IAS has devolved from an enjoyable place to work to a place that harbors toxicity and finger pointing. This all comes from the top down. The level of ineptitude across the majority of the leadership team is so disappointing. The ideology of giving feedback as a gift, essentially means that you must agree and say yes. If you share your own educated and well-versed POV, beware of the consequences. Collaboration used to be fun and a way to learn and exchange ideas, now it is just another naming convention for tit-for-tat. Nobody wants to make the hard decisions and when it comes down to it, I don't blame them because damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Pros

You can sometimes work with great people that genuinely smart, and can at times turn to people who will support you. My team was great, and I had a great time working with my them. Work life balance was pretty healthy.

Cons

Engineering is pretty beholden to product/c-suite decisions, so projects get prioritized in an illogical way. Company has moved more hiring to outsourcing to improve the bottom line, but is negativity affecting morale for the remaining people. Working across teams sometimes can be a huge pain, as some groups create red tape to push away responsibility. And ditto, that pay and compensation are terrible. Raises exist but tend to be pretty poor. Career growth internally also exist, but to be promoted there needs to be a business need for it (so don't count on it). Rank and file were pretty much thrown under the bus for the IPO.

Pros

Great work culture Positive work environment Great work life balance Interesting and Niche domain Thorough agile environment Management that listens Great training and support system for managers

Cons

Compensation may not be the best, annual hikes are very low too Salary reviews on promotion is also very low More emphasis on process so individuals can sometimes find it boring Products are very dependent on partner/client integrations. So its a never ending chase to be up to date with needs Not many Career opportunities
